Composed in 1824, Beethoven's "Symphony No. 9" will celebrate its bicentennial in 2024. With its famous finale based on Schiller's poem "An die Freude" (Ode to Joy), this colossal work is now one of the symbols of European unity. How was this symphony created? And how has it survived two centuries of history?

The narrative follows the intertwined lives of people connected to La Paradise, an urban massage therapy centre. It centres on Mathan, a man struggling to distinguish between the reality of love and its fictionalised ideals. Through a sharp lens of social satire, the story explores adult themes and human behaviour within this unique urban setting.

Four tired women who don't know each other meet by chance at a spa. Here, the film's characters get into strange and somewhat comical situations that help them understand what is wrong in their lives. There is also a fifth weary character here, which is the spa itself, trying to be the perfect place to relax, but failing.
